Dr Amy Huynh 

Dr Amy  is a specialist GP who graduated from the university of NSW.  She has over 20 years of  experience as a doctor. She has worked in Bankstown Hospital and Campbelltown Hospital as well as in Alice Springs in an Aboriginal clinic which included home visits to the Aboriginal community. 

Dr Amy has always wanted to be a GP and was awarded the Fellowship with the Royal Australian College of General Practitioner in 2005. She has worked in general practice in a number of places including Menai, Narwee, Brighton Le Sands and in St George Private Hospital as part of the After Hours GP service serving the community to help relieve pressure on Emergency departments. She has a holistic approach to medicine and loves to help and serve her community. She also loves the continuity of care and wide variety of challenges that general practice has to offer. 

She has a interest in women's health including contraception, endometriosis and menopause, 
paediatrics, preventative health and chronic disease management. She also has completed a Family Planning certificate in Sexual and Reproductive Health. She enjoys doing implanon insertions and removals and takes pride in doing so with minimal scarring. 

In her spare time she loves to spend time with her husband and two kids, as well as 4 guinea pigs and a rabbit.  She also enjoys oil painting, reading and keeping fit. 

Dr Amy Huynh operates as an independant General Practitioner doctor consulting at North Ryde Medical Centre. She is not an employee of the Practice and she maintains full professional autonomy in the treatment of her patients.
